This blog is all about (backcountry) skiing in Eastern Austria and around Vienna in particular. I got the idea for this blog while spending my Easter holidays for the first time in Vienna, my home town. We enjoyed perfect corn snow each day and some of my best skiing of the last winter (and I had quite some interesting skiing days last winter) was during these days. Suddenly, I realized that Vienna might be well regarded as “ski town”.
Hence, I thougt I could share the great potential of this region as a skiing and freeride location with you, the fellow reader and started to work on this blog.
